RANGELY, Colo. (February 27, 2021) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College women's basketball team earned its first win of the league season Saturday.
The Lady Spartans earned a 81-73 win over the College of Southern Nevada, picking up their first Scenic West Athletic Conference win of the year. The win boosts CNCC to 3-7 overall and 1-5 in league play.
A strong fourth quarter catapulted CNCC to the victory, with the Lady Spartans outscoring CSN 32-21 in the final period. Colorado Northwestern made 5-of-7 three-point shots in the final period to key the run.
Aiesha Feagins led CNCC with 16 points, while Mckleigh Begaye scored 15 points.
Kaley Woodruff had 12 points and Ta'Njia Watson posted 10 points.
Colorado Northwestern will travel to play at Salt Lake Community College on Wednesday.
