RANGELY, Colo. (December 4, 2021) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College Men's Basketball program fell in a Scenic West Athletic Conference road game Saturday.
CNCC lost a 102-66 decision at the College of Southern Nevada, trailing early and never recovering in the road loss. The Spartans are now 2-7 with the loss, including a mark of 0-2 in Scenic West road games.
Colorado Northwestern struggled offensively throughout the game, trailing 50-23 at halftime after shooting just 24 percent (6-of-25) in the opening period. CNCC also committed 20 turnovers in the loss.
Trevon Cason led the Spartans with 16 points, going 10-of-12 from the free-throw line.
Seena Namdar scored 13 points, while
Jaden Landes posted 9 points.
The Spartans will play host to a pair of Scenic West Athletic Conference games inside Hefley Gym next week, hosting Community Christian and Southern Idaho.
