RANGELY, Colo. (December 2, 2021) – A tough loss greeted the Colorado Northwestern Community College Men's Basketball team in its Scenic West Athletic Conference opener Thursday.
 
Playing at longtime regional rival Snow, the Spartans dropped a 101-63 game to the Badgers. With the loss, Colorado Northwestern is now 2-6 overall and 0-1 in Scenic West play.
 
The Spartans fell behind early, trailing 53-26 at halftime and never recovering from there. CNCC shot just 32.8 percent from the field (22-of-67), suffering 14 turnovers.
 
Jaden Landes led Colorado Northwestern individually, scoring 15 points. Kok Daw, Trevon Cason  and Noah Valdez scored 9 points apiece. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will play at Southern Nevada Saturday.
