RANGELY, Colo. (December 16, 2021) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball team suffered a tough defeat to a longtime Scenic West Athletic Conference power Thursday.
 
CNCC fell in a 100-57 game with longtime rival Salt Lake, allowing the Bruins to shoot 52.8 percent in the loss. The Lady Spartans are now 6-7 overall and 1-4 in Scenic West games.
 
Rebecca Fraley was a significant performer for CNCC in spite of the loss, scoring 19 points. Erin Mauro finished with 9 points, while Ashana Hinds posted 8 points. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will make the trip south to conclude play before its annual Holiday Break, playing at USU Eastern Saturday.
