RANGELY, Colo. (December 11, 2021) – A tough Scenic West Athletic Conference game ended in disappointing fashion for the Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball team.
The Lady Spartans fell in a home game against Southern Idaho, losing 82-58 to split a home weekend of SWAC play. Colorado Northwestern is now 6-6 overall and 1-3 in Scenic West play.
After a hot start offensively, CNCC's offense cooled later in the game, with the Lady Spartans shooting just 28.6 percent from the field (18-of-63).
Aiesha Feagins scored 14 points to lead CNCC, while
Erin Mauro finished with 10 points.
Ashana Hinds and
Rebecca Fraley both scored 9 points.
CNCC will play a pair of road games next week, facing off against longtime Scenic West rival Salt Lake on Thursday. The Lady Spartans will conclude the week with a game at USU Eastern on Saturday.
