RANGELY, Colo. (November 10, 2021) - The Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball program earned a strong win in a non-conference game Tuesday.

CNCC, playing for the first time at home inside Hefley Gym, powered to a close 69-66 win over Central Wyoming College, outscoring CWC 22-14 in the final quarter to earn the victory. The Lady Spartans are now 2-0.

It was Central Wyoming who led early, taking a 35-29 advantage at halftime and a 52-47 lead into the third quarter. From there, CNCC caught fire offensively to earn the win.

Erin Mauro led CNCC with 20 points, while Ashana Hinds posted 15 points. Aiesha Feagins had 10 points in the win.

Colorado Northwestern will next host Western Wyoming on Tuesday, Nov. 16, in a non-conference game.
