RANGELY, Colo. (October 7, 2021) - The Colorado Northwestern Community College Volleyball program dropped a heartbreaking match in a non-conference road bout on Tuesday.
CNCC dropped a non-conference contest at Western Wyoming Community College, falling 3-2 in the match by set scores of 20-25, 22-25, 25-18, 26-24, 8-15. The loss drops the Lady Spartans to 0-15 overall.
In a match that went back-and-forth, Colorado Northwestern's defense kept the Lady Spartans competitive in the five-set loss, with CNCC limiting Western Wyoming to a hitting percentage of just .167 while forcing 27 errors. On the other side, CNCC's offense posted 58 kills.Â
Marissa Coney led the Lady Spartans with 14 kills, while
Savannah Cazier posted 11 kills.
Brenna Reagan finished the match with 35 kills, while
Kylie Williams finished with 24 digs.
Colorado Northwestern will host USU Eastern on Friday.Â
