RANGELY, Colo. (October 2, 2021) - The Colorado Northwestern Community College Volleyball program lost a competitive Scenic West Athletic Conference home match over the weekend.
CNCC fell in a 3-0 decision to longtime NJCAA powerhouse Southern Idaho Saturday, falling by set scores of 26-28, 23-25, 12-25. The losses drop the Lady Spartans to 0-14 overall and 0-4 in Scenic West play.
While the match was a set sweep for Southern Idaho, CNCC fared well thanks to a strong offensive attack that saw the Lady Spartans post 37 kills in the loss. However, Colorado Northwestern committed 19 errors in the loss, finishing with a hitting error of .159.
Savannah Cazier led CNCC with 10 kills, while
Kylie Williams posted 9 kills in the loss.
Brenna Reagan finished with 26 assists.
Colorado Northwestern will play a non-conference match at Western Wyoming Tuesday, then travel to play USU Eastern on Friday.
