RANGELY, Colo. (February 13, 2020) - The Colorado Northwestern Community College men's basketball team may have returned from a long road trip Thursday but home-cooking did little to help the Spartans.
CNCC was downed by longtime foe College of Southern Idaho, 110-83, falling behind early and struggling to make up the difference. With the loss, Colorado Northwestern's overall record falls to 3-25 and 1-9 on the season.
CSI took a 59-40 halftime lead and never looked back in the loss. CNCC's
Rhaven Brown led the Spartans offensively with 23 points, while
Azarien Stephens scored 19 points.
Dre'Quez Harvey had 13 points and
Amer Mandzic posted 11 points.
Ifeoluwa Shoyoye was the other double-digit scorer, posting 10 points in the loss.
Colorado Northwestern will host regional foe USU Eastern on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. inside Hefley Gym.Â
