Rangely, CO - Just after hitting his 10 year mark,
Adrian Hayes has decided to say goodbye to CNCC. "It is with a heavy heart that after 10 years of service to Colorado Northwestern and the community of Rangely, I'm announcing my resignation as head men's basketball coach. I am taking this time to pursue other options in my life. Words cannot express the gratitude that I have for CNCC faculty, staff, students and also the Rangely community." Hayes has become instilled in the Rangely community over that past 10 years. His team shows up regularly to the local Jr/Sr high schools athletic events, along with playing basketball with the elementary students at recess. He has ran camps and been a guest motivational speaker in the local school's over the years. Adrian has been able to take the CNCC men's basketball program and be competitive within the Scenic West Athletic Conference. "Over the years I have watched support for CNCC athletics increase which has been instrumental for coaches to bring in quality student-athletes. I would like to take this time and thank everyone for the tremendous amount of support and love shown to me during my tenure."
Adrian will be leaving Rangely to pursue other business opportunities. Colorado Northwestern and the community of Rangely wishes nothing but the best for Coach Hayes as he starts a new chapter in his life and career.
Colorado Northwestern has named
Nathan Terrin, Adrian's current assistant coach, head coach of the Spartan's starting September 15th.
