CNCC Women’s Basketball Recruiting: Nine New Additions for the 2015-16 Season

Rangely, Colo. –The Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball program signed another nine student-athletes to a Letter of Intent over the past two months. The new signees come from Colorado, Utah, and Oregon and will add significant depth to CNCC's recruiting class for the 2015-16 season.
 
2015-16 Colorado Northwestern CC Signees:
 
Sarah Midgley –5-5 guard (Copper Hills High School, UT) Midgley returns the Spartans after starting all 29 games for CNCC a year ago. As a freshman she averaged 10.4 points per game and led the team in 3-Pt Field Goals made with 65 during the 2014-15 season.
 
Tyra Rodriguez –5-6 guard (Lehi High School, UT) Rodriguez also returns to the Spartans after starting 26 games in her freshman campaign. The 5-6 guard from Lehi, UT, averaged 6.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game during the 2014-15 season.
 
Marta Burchett –5-7 guard (Newberg High School, OR) Burchett transfers to CNCC after playing one season at Lindenwood University – Belleville in Belleville, Illinois. The three year varsity starter out of Oregon averaged 6.47 points and 1.16 assists per game for Newberg High School during her senior year.
 
Alyssa Isaman –5-11 forward (Cedaredge High School, CO) Isaman is transferring to CNCC after attending Colorado Mesa University for one year. The 5-11 forward was named First-Team All-Conference for the Western Slope League in both her Junior and Senior seasons. She averaged 11 points and 6.7 rebounds per game during her high school career.
 
Kanani Naipo –5-8 guard (Roosevelt High School, CO) Naipo joins the CNCC Women's Basketball program after finishing her career at Roosevelt High School in Johnstown, CO. She averaged 5.6 points per game during her senior year, and also made the All-Star team at the USJN Battle of the Border.
 
Rachel Prescott –5-7 guard (Stansbury High School, UT) Prescott was named First-Team All-State and First-Team All-Region in Class 3A (Utah) for the 2014-15 season. The Stansbury High School graduate averaged 16.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.6 steals per game during her senior year while leading her team to the State Tournament.
 
Sierra Reynolds –6-0 forward/post (Plateau Valley High School, CO) Reynolds averaged 13.8 points and 10.9 rebounds per game on her way to a Colorado 1A State Tournament appearance during her senior season. She was also named to the Class 1A All-State Third-Team, and won a gold medal at the State Track Meet as a member of the 4 X 400 team for Plateau Valley High School in 2014-15.
 
Rylee Thompson –6-0 guard (Roy High School, UT) Thompson averaged 5.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game during her team's run to the 2014-15 4A State Tournament in Utah. The 6-0 guard was also selected to the Class 4A Region 5 Honorable Mention Team.
 
Cylee Tuimaunei –5-8 guard (Orem High School, UT) Tuimaunei was named First-Team All-Region 7 in Class 4A (Utah) for both the 2013 and 2014 seasons. She also averaged 16.56 points per game during her senior season at Orem High School.
