Melissa Hardman is entering her first season with the Spartans. Coach Hardman brings over 25 years of experience with the game of volleyball to Colorado Northwestern Community College. She spent three years at McPherson College as an assistant coach. While there, she helped lead the Bulldogs to NAIA Regional play-offs twice in three years. The next step in Coach Hardman’s journey was Bethany College. She was there as an assistant from 2008-2010 and then again from 2013-2015. Hardman helped to coach several KCAC all-conference players while at McPherson and Bethany College, along with one NAIA All-American. After Bethany College Hardman went to Trinidad State as the head volleyball coach. She spent five seasons with the Trojans as the head coach and had several NJCAA All-Academic students and multiple players with Region 9 post season honors. Coach Hardman was given the opportunity to coach at Adam’s State University as the assistant coach and did so for one season while living away from her family.
Coach Hardman attended and played volleyball for four years at Kansas Wesleyan University, where she graduated with a B.A. in Athletic Training and minors in Health and Psychology. She went on to earn her M.B.A., with an emphasis in Sports Management in May 2013 from Kansas Wesleyan University as well.
Coach is married to David Hardman and they have two children, Brenton and Quinton.
