Eldon Brough

Coach Eldon Brough enters his fourth season with Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) soccer and his second as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach, following two years where he led both the men’s and women’s programs. In just a short time, Brough has already made a lasting impact on Spartan soccer. Under his leadership, the women’s team reached unprecedented success in 2022, and in 2023, both the men’s and women’s programs set school records for wins and goal differential, marking the most successful seasons in CNCC soccer history.

A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Brough’s coaching journey began after serving a two-year church mission in Venezuela and Chile. He earned a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Utah and went on to accumulate 15 years of diverse coaching and strength & conditioning experience. He served as a head coach for both boys’ and girls’ high school programs in Utah for seven seasons, while also holding strength and conditioning positions at the University of Utah, Westminster College, Utah Tech University, the University of Detroit Mercy, Real Salt Lake, UC Davis, Utah Valley University, and Snow College.

In 2021, Brough earned his master’s degree in Athletic Coaching from Ball State University. He is a proud member of the United Soccer Coaches Association, holding the 11v11 National Diploma, and is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. In addition, he is Certified in Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute.

Beyond the field, Brough resides in rural eastern Utah with his wife, Becca, and their four children—Marin, Sam, Ammon, and Cooper. Together, they enjoy raising a variety of animals and exploring the mountains that surround their home.

Coach Brough’s commitment to CNCC extends well beyond wins and losses. He is dedicated to building a culture of resilience, teamwork, and holistic growth for his student-athletes. As he enters his fourth year, Brough remains focused on pushing the women’s soccer program to even greater heights while continuing to make an impact on the college and the community.
