Bio:
Vanessa Scarborough hails from Salt Lake City, Utah. Although born in Salt Lake City, she moved to St. George, Utah, with her mother and sibling after 5th grade. After graduating from Dixie High School, Vanessa returned to Salt Lake City to live with her father. Currently, she is working towards her Associate of Arts degree at CNCC.

Vanessa’s basketball goals extend beyond the court; she aims to grow as a person by applying the skills she hones in basketball—such as hard work, dedication, and discipline—to all areas of her life. A multi-sport athlete in high school, Vanessa competed in basketball, volleyball, and softball, with most of her accolades coming from softball. Despite this, she is excited and grateful for the opportunity to play basketball for CNCC and Coach Carter. Vanessa has also earned several academic scholarships and hopes to make an even greater impact in athletics this year with her amazing team. She feels privileged to be part of the CNCC family and is eager to contribute to the program’s success.
