Bio:
Shyann Farbes is a Colorado native, born in Denver and raised in Centennial, a suburb of Denver. She comes from a large family, being the fourth of six children. Her mother, originally from Los Angeles, moved to Colorado at the age of 14 and has lived there ever since. Her father is also a Colorado native, aside from a brief time living in Chicago. Shyann has a twin brother and sister who are 23, an older brother who is 21, a younger sister who is 16, and a younger brother who is 14.

Shyann is passionate about both animals and the water, which has inspired her to pursue a degree in aquatic veterinary medicine. Over the next few years, she aims to continue developing her basketball skills and grow her understanding of the college game. Her ultimate goal is to transfer to a four-year university where she can pursue her degree and continue playing basketball.

During her high school career, Shyann played varsity basketball all four years, starting in three of those seasons. She consistently led her team in field goal percentage and three-point field goal percentage, and in her senior year, she led the team in points, assists, and steals. Shyann earned All-Conference Honorable Mention twice during her high school career and was elected team captain in her senior year, a role that helped her develop her leadership skills both on and off the court.
