Bio:
Shunbaah Begay is from Red Mesa, Utah, and graduated from Whitehorse High School in the Class of 2024. Growing up on a reservation with limited resources, Shunbaah found basketball to be a vital outlet that helped her develop into the player she is today. She is now majoring in Biology at Colorado Northwestern Community College, where she will complete her first two years before transferring to a four-year university to earn her bachelor’s degree.
Shunbaah’s basketball goals include continuously learning more about the game and evolving as a player. During her high school career, she played in the 1A All-Star Game and competed on the varsity basketball team throughout her high school years, with the exception of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to her athletic achievements, Shunbaah was also an honor student.
