Alexis Schulz

Coach Alexis Schulz enters her second season as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC), bringing a strong background as both a collegiate player and coach.

Originally from Fernandina Beach, Florida, Schulz played NCAA Division II basketball for four years at Belmont Abbey College, where she left her mark as a sharpshooter and leader. As a freshman, she ranked third nationally in three-point shooting at 46%, and by her senior year, she earned all-conference honors. Her junior season was highlighted by a conference championship and a run to the NCAA Elite Eight. She graduated with a degree in Biology, fueled by a long-standing passion for medicine and science.

Schulz used her fifth year of eligibility at Lincoln Memorial University, where she completed her MBA in Healthcare Administration while continuing her basketball career. Following her playing days, she worked in the healthcare industry in Charlotte, North Carolina, while staying active in her community—volunteering as a science tutor, assisting on hospital surgical floors, and training youth in basketball.

Her coaching experience includes serving as head coach for the Lady Nightmares AAU program in Florida from 2018 to 2020, where she helped multiple players advance to the collegiate level.

In her free time, Schulz enjoys the beach, hiking, and reading. As she enters her second season with CNCC, she remains dedicated to helping Spartan student-athletes grow on the court, in the classroom, and in life.
