Bio:
Cassandra Perez is pursuing an Associate's degree in Science with the goal of becoming a Radiologic Technologist. Born and raised in Pasadena, Texas, Cassandra has always felt blessed to be surrounded by her supportive and loving family, who inspire her to strive for excellence in all her endeavors.

Cassandra’s athletic journey began in intermediate school, where she participated in every sport offered, sparking her passion for basketball. At Pasadena Memorial High School, she earned a spot on the varsity team her sophomore year. During her first year on varsity, Cassandra received a Region Honorable Mention and the Most Improved award, which significantly boosted her confidence.

By her junior year, Cassandra emerged as a vocal leader for her team, earning accolades such as Best Defender and 2nd Team All-District. In her senior year, she was honored with the Best Rebounder award, 1st Team All-District selection, and Defensive Player of the Year for District 22-6A. As a captain during her final two years of high school, Cassandra led with vocal leadership, determination, and a strong defensive presence.

For the upcoming season, Cassandra aims to continue learning and growing from her teammates and to embrace the challenges of playing college basketball.
