Favorite Athlete: Dennis Rodman

Bio:
Alivia Hutton was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she grew up playing a variety of sports from a young age. Raised by her single father in a loving home, Alivia developed a strong passion for athletics. She is currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business, with the goal of one day starting her own business in real estate.

Alivia’s athletic journey has been both rewarding and eventful. She played basketball throughout her four years of high school and earned varsity letters in three sports—soccer, basketball, and track and field—from her sophomore to senior years. Among her many achievements in track and field, two stand out: earning region medals by placing 2nd in the 100m hurdles and 5th in the 4x100m relay. Additionally, Alivia holds the Cottonwood High School record for the women’s 100m hurdles with a time of 16 seconds.

However, basketball has always been Alivia’s true passion. She was recognized as a Region Honorable Mention in both her sophomore and junior years, and in her senior year, she earned First Team honors and was selected for the 4A All-Star Team. Alivia helped lead her team to back-to-back region championships in her junior and senior years, marking the first time in her school’s history that this feat was accomplished, leaving a lasting legacy at Cottonwood High School.
