Norian Edwards

Norian Edwards returns to CNCC after 4 years as a Certified Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist Assistant, originally from Northern Utah. Norian comes from an athletic background, having played sports her whole life. Norian excelled in softball and attended College of Southern Nevada for one year before transferring to Southern Utah University to continue her collegiate career.  There she received a dual bachelor's degree in Athletic Training and Physical Education & Human Performance. From there, Norian found her way to Boise State University, where she attended Graduate School  and earned a degree in Kinesiology. While attending graduate school, Norian interned in Sports and Conditioning where she worked closely with the staff and student athletes in several sports including Football, Softball, Swimming & Diving, and Women's Basketball. After graduation, Norian moved to Rangely, Colorado as the Head Athletic Trainer for CNCC. She was the Athletic Trainer at Colorado Northwestern Community College from Fall of 2012-Spring 2016. Norian was also an assistant softball coach for 2 years while at CNCC.  While away for 4 years, Norian worked at Rangely District Hospital in the Physical Therapy Department and also went to PTA school. She received her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant in December 2018 and became licensed shortly after. While working at the local hospital, Norian gained skills and knowledge that she feels will better help her take care of the athletes at CNCC in regards to injury, prevention and rehabilitation.  Norian currently resides in Rangely, CO with her husband, son, and 2 dogs. She enjoys the great outdoors and sports. In the summer, she often spends most her time at the golf course and enjoys other activities like corn hole and spike ball. She is extremely excited to return to CNCC and get to be involved with high competitive athletics once again.
