Candra Robie

Candra will be entering her 16th year with Colorado Northwestern Community College. She came to CNCC in the fall of 2007 as an assistant softball coach. In her full 15 years with CNCC, Robie has had many roles. Candra was the assistant softball coach for six years with CNCC and the head softball coach for two years before stepping down after having her first child. She took on the role of the Athletic Eligibility Coordinator for over 11 years, she served in different athletic administration roles, was a student-athlete advisor, an intervention specialist and has managed multiple grants throughout her career at CNCC. Candra left coaching with CNCC in 2015 after having her second child. It was then Candra was able to make the move into the advising department, keeping her athletic eligibility duties. She had the opportunity to moved back into athletics full-time as the Assistant Athletic Director in June 2018 and then was named Athletic Director in February 2019. 

Candra is originally from Roy, UT. In 2003 she signed to play softball with Salt Lake Community College. Candra was a two year starting catcher for the Bruins, helping lead them to a Region 18 conference championship in 2004, along with Salt Lake's first ever national appearance. In 2005 she helped lead the Bruins to a Region 18 divisional championship. After Candra’s two years at SLCC she was to continue her career at the University of Utah. Due to a shoulder injury, requiring surgery, Robie never recovered to play the last two years of her collegiate career.

Candra has a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Utah State University and a Master of Art degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine. Candra, her husband and three daughters enjoy living in Rangely and spend a lot of their time golfing and camping.
