Mitch Waltisperger

Mitch begins his first season with CNCC rodeo this fall. He grew up in the Hill Country of Texas in the small town of Tarpley.  Mitch grew up working around livestock as well as roping competitively. He started out his career competing in junior rodeos and then on to high school rodeos. In 2006 Waltisperger signed on to rodeo with Western Texas College in Snyder, Texas. In 2008 he went to the College National Finals Rodeo in tie-down roping. Mitch is not stranger to CNFR. Mitch has been able to compete at the national level as an athlete, and has also been able coach on the national stage. He received his Associates Degree from Western Texas College and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in University Studies from Eastern New Mexico University in 2016.
