Isaiah enters his first year will Colorado Northwestern athletics. Born and raised in Aurora, CO Isaiah attended Smoky Hill High School. In 2011 Cockrell started working for The National Basketball Academy handling youth player development. After graduating from Colorado Mesa University in 2018, Isaiah was hired at the Denver School of Science & Technology: Conservatory Green High School, as the L3 Head Men’s Basketball Coach and the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. Since 2018 Cockrell has worked as a men’s and women’s head coach for Hardwood Evolution, an AAU Club based out of Greenwood Village, CO. As an AAU coach, Isaiah was able to keep his winning percentage above .800. Isaiah has a strong passion for helping student-athletes grow as basketball players and more importantly, grow to become great people.
Isaiah has a Bachelor of Art degree in Sports Management from Colorado Mesa University.
