RANGELY, Colo. (February 11, 2023) - Playing four games-in-five days is a lot to ask of a college basketball team.
The toll of road games finally caught up with the Colorado Northwestern Community College Men's Basketball team Saturday, with the Spartans dropping a () game at Southern Nevada. CNCC is 4-21 overall and 1-12 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Both CNCC and CSN traded baskets throughout the first half, with Southern Nevada taking a 41-30 lead at halftime. Offensive efficiency cost the Spartans throughout the game, with CNCC going 8-of-24 from the three-point line.
Knowledge Ruben scored 16 points to lead Colorado Northwestern.
Pablo Torres finished with 15 points, while
Khalfani Cason had 10 points.
Colorado Northwestern will play a single road game next week, traveling to play at USU Eastern Thursday.
