RANGELY, Colo. (February 23, 2022) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball team fell in the opening round of the Region 18 tournament Wednesday.
 
CNCC fell in a matchup with No. 3 seed Snow College, falling 77-53 after holding a lead at the end of the first quarter. The loss ends the season for the Lady Spartans, with CNCC posting an overall mark of 8-21 overall.
 
Colorado Northwestern led 16-15 at the end of the first quarter, then narrowly trailed 33-29 at halftime. Snow's defense limited CNCC in the second half though, with the Lady Spartans going just 3-of-17 from the field in the fourth quarter.
 
Aiesha Feagins led Colorado Northwestern with 17 points, while Mya Murdock posted 10 points. 
 
Snow will play against Salt Lake in the Region 18 semifinals on Friday.
