RANGELY, Colo. (October 7, 2022) – A road match against a nationally ranked foe did not go well for the Colorado Northwestern Community College Volleyball team Friday.
 
CNCC dropped a 3-0 decision at No. 2 Salt Lake Community College, falling by set scores of 15-25, 8-25, 9-25. The loss sets the Lady Spartans at 0-9 overall and 0-3 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
 
Breelyn Burton led the Lady Spartans with three kills. Sharzay Herrera posted seven kills, while Sierra Smith had nine kills. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will play Saturday at Southern Idaho.
