Lady Spartans fall to Southern Nevada

RANGELY, Colo. (January 22, 2022) -  The Colorado Northwestern Community College Women's Basketball team fell in a Scenic West home game Saturday.
 
CNCC lost an 86-50 decision to the College of Southern Nevada, starting slow and never recovering. The Lady Spartans are now 7-13 overall and 2-8 in Scenic West games.
 
After CSN took a 20-12 lead after the first quarter, the Lady Spartans fought back to head into halftime with a manageable 36-26 deficit. Southern Nevada outscored CNCC 28-14 in the third quarter though, taking control of the game.
 
Ashana Hinds led Colorado Northwestern with 17 points, while Rebecca Fraley scored 9 points. Aiesha Feagins also posted 8 points. 
 
Colorado Northwestern will play next on February 3 at Snow College.
