RANGELY, Colo. (February 9, 2021) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College women's volleyball team earned a strong victory in a non-conference match Tuesday.

Playing host to Western Wyoming Community College inside Hefley Gym, the Lady Spartans picked up a 3-0 decision, winning 25-19, 25-19, 25-16. The loss drops CNCC to 1-4.
CNCC dominated all three sets, never looking back on the way to its first victory of the season. The Lady Spartans held a 32-24 advantage in kills and held a team-hitting percentage of .100. Colorado Northwestern also controlled the net, finishing with a 5-2 advantage in blocks.
Claudia Schuurmans led CNCC with 9Â kills, while
Savannah Cazier posted 7 kills.
Isabella Stille finished with 16 assists.Â

Colorado Northwestern will play in a four-game tournament this weekend in Wyoming.  The Lady Spartans will play host Northwest College and Dawson Community College Friday, with matches against Western Wyoming and Williston State on Saturday.
