RANGELY, Colo. (February 17, 2021) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College volleyball team opened Scenic West Athletic Conference play Wednesday, downing the College of Southern Nevada.
 
The Lady Spartans earned a 3-0 win over the Lady Coyotes, earning set victories of 30-28, 25-16, 25-20. The win boosts CNCC to 5-5 overall and a 1-0 start to Scenic West play.
 
CNCC trailed 24-22 in the opening set of the match, battling back to score three straight points to reclaim the lead. After a back-and-forth, the Lady Spartans sprung out to a lead and momentum they never relinquished. Colorado Northwestern finished with a hitting percentage of .194, with Savannah Cazier leading CNCC with 8 kills. Isabella Stille and Aliyah Hernandez finished with 11 assists apiece. 

Colorado Northwestern will host Snow College on Friday inside Hefley Gym.
