RANGELY, Colo. (November 5, 2021) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College Volleyball program was downed in the opening match of the Region 18 tournament Friday.
 
Playing inside Hefley Gym as the tournament host, CNCC lost a 3-0 decision to Snow College, dropping set scores of 12-25, 16-25, 14-25. The loss drops Colorado Northwestern to 1-23 overall to end the season. 
 
Snow limited CNCC to a hitting percentage of just -.019, with the Lady Spartans posting 23 kills compared to 25 errors. Emily Badger finished with seven kills to lead CNCC, while Savannah Cazier had four aces for the Lady Spartans. Marissa Coney posted 17 assists in the loss.
 
Snow will advance to face off against Salt Lake in a semifinal match Friday evening.
