RANGELY, Colo. (November 16, 2021) - The Colorado Northwestern Community College Men's Basketball team lost a close decision at home to a regional rival Tuesday.
CNCCÂ lost a 65-53 decision to Western Wyoming Community College inside Hefley Gym, falling behind after trailing narrowly at halftime. The Spartans are now 1-5 overall.
Colorado Northwestern narrowly trailed at halftime, 29-27, but Western Wyoming opened up in the second half, outscoring CNCCÂ 36-26 in the half. The Spartans shot just 33.3 percent in the game (19-of-57), making just 4-of-21 three-point attempts.
Trevon Cason finished with 17 points, while
Jaden Stoffel posted 14 points.
Rhaven Brown scored 10 points in the loss for CNCC.
Colorado Northwestern will play at Central Wyoming next Tuesday.Â
