RANGELY, Colo. (October 25, 2021) - Good feelings abounded inside Hefley Gym Monday, as the Colorado Northwestern Community College Volleyball program earned its first win of the Fall 2021 season.
Hosting a three-team tournament at home, the Lady Spartans earned a 3-1 win over regional foe Western Wyoming Community College (26-24, 28-22, 25-27, 23-25) in the final match of the night. CNCC also lost a 3-0 decision to Trinidad State Junior College (21-25, 20-25, 18-25) earlier in the day. The day's results leave Colorado Northwestern at 1-21 overall, with a mark of 0-9 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Kylie Williams posted 14 kills in the win over Western Wyoming, while
Brenna Reagan had 45 assists. The Lady Spartans hit .191 in the Western Wyoming win.Â
Colorado Northwestern will host USU Eastern on 'Sophomore Night' on Friday. The match is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. inside Hefley Gym.Â
