RANGELY, Colo. (June 9, 2019) – The Colorado Northwestern Community College women's soccer program will have a new face leading the program in the 2019 season.

Candra Robie recently announced that in-state soccer figure
Kyle Kazemi has agreed to becoming the program's head coach. A Colorado native, Kazemi most recently coached at Ralston Valley High School in Arvada, Colo.
Robie said the search revealed that Kazemi was the best person to lead the program forward.
"We have hired a great new coach (
Kyle Kazemi) that is up to the challenges that he is going to face and is already making strides to put a great product out for us this fall," she said. "We are so excited to move women's soccer in a new and positive direction."
Kazemi grew up playing club and high school soccer in Colorado, leading his alma mater of Ralston Valley to success in both the men's-and-women's competition as a coach. He competed as a midfielder for Concordia College (Minn.), helping the team maintain their nationally-competitive status.
His collegiate experience includes working with the University of New Mexico soccer program during the 2016 season and working as an academic advisor at Concordia. In his role at Concordia, Kazemi held leadership roles and advised students on admission and enrollment guidelines.
