Spartan Women's Basketball won in convincing style on Saturday over Little Big Horn College.

Five Spartans scored in double figures led by Soph. guard Alyssa Nielsen(Duchesne, UT) with 19 points. Joining Nielsen in double digits were Soph. forward Kallie Taylor(Riverton, UT) and freshman guard Brittany Gomez(San Antonio, TX) with 13 apiece. Freshman forward Analiza Elizondo(San Antonio, TX) and freshman forward Nakeva Mack(Tucson, AZ) scored 12pts. and 10 pts. respectively. Colorado Northwestern led by only 2 at the half. The Spartans came out of the halftime break with a sense of urgency and defensive intensity holding the Little Big Horn Rams to 12 points in the second half. The Spartans outscored the Rams in the paint and dominated the rebounding game to seal the victory.
Colorado Northwestern will travel to Las Vegas, NV  to play in the CSN Holiday Classic Dec. 26-29, 2017
