RANGELY, Colorado – The Colorado Northwestern Women's Basketball team fell in their conference home opener to the College of Southern Idaho 89-57. CNCC struggled defensively against the 7^th ranked team in the country, and also hurt themselves by committing 32 turnovers for the game. The Lady Spartans on offense were strong from the free throw line (11-14) but only shot 36.2% from the field (21-58).

CNCC was led in scoring against CSI by Shelby Harvey with 12 points. Also chipping in for the Lady Spartans on offense were Sarah Midgley (9 points), Rylee Thompson (6 points), Cylee Tuimaunei (5 points), Kelsey Harvey (4 points), Taylor Martin (4 points), Taylor Thomas (4 points), Megan Erickson (4 points), Kanani Naipo (3 points), Rachel Prescott (2 points), Sierra Reynolds (2 points), and Tyra Rodriguez (2 points). Kelsey Harvey led the Spartans in rebounding with seven total.
