RANGELY, Colorado – CNCC Women's Basketball opened conference play on the road this week at No. 1 ranked Salt Lake Community College. Despite the Lady Spartan's strong effort, they dropped a hard fought game 83-58 to the Bruins. CNCC went in the half trailing by 14 points and was never able to recover. The team's 26 turnovers also hurt any chance CNCC had at attempting a comeback.
Against SLCC,

Shelby Harvey (10 points),
Rachel Prescott (7 points),
Taylor Martin (6 points),

Taylor Thomas (3 points), and
Tyra Rodriguez (2 points). Martin and Thomas led the Lady Spartans in rebounding with seven each.
