CNCC Drops Game to Fort Berthold

RANGELY, Colorado – CNCC Women's Basketball struggled to find their offensive rhythm on the first day of the Dawson CC Thanksgiving Classic, dropping their opening game to Fort Berthold 72-47. The Lady Spartans shot 26.6% for the game and managed only 2-17 shooting from the 3-pt line. CNCC also committed 29 turnovers.

In the tournament opener, Shelby Harvey led all scorers with 14 points. Also scoring for CNCC were Taylor Thomas (9 points), Kelsey Harvey (6 points), Rylee Thompson (4 points), Rachel Prescott (4 points), Cylee Tuimaunei (4 points), Taylor Martin (3 points), Tyra Rodriguez (2 points), and Kanani Naipo (1 point). The Lady Spartans were led in rebounding by Prescott with eight total for the game.
