RANGELY, Colorado – The Colorado Northwestern Women's Basketball team wrapped up the Coach USA Classic in Gillette, Wyoming, with a 77-70 win against United Tribes Technical College to move to 5-2 on the season.
The game was close throughout but a strong (21-13) 4
th quarter from CNCC pushed the Lady Spartans to victory. CNCC was carried again by strong shooting as the team shot 29-62 from the field (46.8%).
The Lady Spartans had great offensive balance again with 10 players scoring.
Cylee Tuimaunei led CNCC with 14 points (6-10 shooting) and eight rebounds. Also contributing to CNCC's scoring were

Tyra Rodriguez (8 points),
Taylor Thomas (5 points),
Sarah Midgley (5 points),
Megan Erickson (5 points),

Taylor Martin (2 points). Thompson led the Lady Spartans with six steals, and Erickson also had a strong game as well with 7 rebounds.
